Here's the Video

Here's the promised video of Adrian playing with his Daddy in the pool.

Little Swimmer

We are making the most of our two days between the Moza's returning home from Romania and our leaving for Canada on Sunday. Here is Adrian taking his first swim with his Mommy and Daddy. Looks like he's going to be a natural!

I took several pictures and gave them to Meredith, so check her blog in the next day or two to see some more! Even have a cute video that I'll try to upload. Meanwhile, we're packed and almost ready to leave in the morning. Hopefully I'll have lots of beautiful pictures to share upon our return.

Treasure's Haircut

Treasure went to the groomers today and got a lovely haircut. She will be so much more comfortable as the temperatures are rising. She had a new girl do her grooming. And this is her beautiful haircut...

In all the years I've been taking westies for haircuts, this is the first time we've come home with bows in our hair! Like I said, she had a new groomer, a cute little gal with a foreign accent, who obviously adored Treasure and wanted to make her look pretty! Well, you can see how much she loved the bows! I did her a favor and took them out right after the picture.

Now, you do me a favor and be sure to tell her just how pretty she looked after her haircut!

Surprise for Mom

A special surprise was waiting for me this afternoon - on Mother's Day - roses from Murphy! And not only roses, but a box of chocolate covered strawberries! I think he was making up for the last 30 something years! Needless to say, I am very touched by his show of affection.

Lest it seem this is the only Mother's Day gift I received, I hurry to say that Meredith and I celebrated our special Mother's Day (her first as a Mommy and my first as a grandmommy) last week before they left for Romania. We treated one another (and our men) to a delicious fajita feast after church. This year I am blessed beyond measure.

Arrival in Timisoara

I had a very short email from Meredith saying they had finally arrived in Timisoara. She mentioned long layovers and said that Cristi's luggage may come tomorrow. I'm sure they were happy to see family, eat a good meal (Cristi's mother is a fabulous cook) and maybe get a good night's sleep. Thanks for prayers.

Bound for Romania

They're off! Somehow Meredith managed to pack everything she needed and then load all the bags into the car. I'm sorry, fellas, but this is one job that only a Mom can handle!

Bear in mind that there is also a stroller and a very large diaper bag in the back seat of this car! The next hurdle was at the airport. I snapped this shot after they put everything on the curb.

What I failed to capture on my camera was Cristi loading one pack onto his back! I pulled away before seeing how they would manage to move all those bags! Thankfully, all will be checked through to Timisoara except for the stroller and diaper bag! How do these young parents travel like this? I give them bushels of credit and promises of lots of prayers.

How can I be so upbeat as I watch my precious family leave? It's easy when I think of the absolute joy that awaits them in Romania. Adrian has an aunt, two grandparents and a great-grandma who have not had the luxury I enjoy of holding this baby every day. God is abundantly gracious to allow them to make this trip. And I know He will keep them safe throughout their journey.

I'll share any news I get from them, which may be sporadic, depending on their internet availability. Would you remember them in your prayers for the next two weeks?

New Website

Just want to take a minute to say that I am revamping the Ministry's website and finally getting some action going with it. This is definitely going to be a work in progress, hopefully for a long time. Anyway, we are now a .com instead of a .org, so when you go looking for us, go to www.hisgreaterworks.com.
